The Project
Bishop Highline is two separate buildings featured in the Bishop Arts District in Dallas. Buildings A & B, located on the 300th and 400th block of Melba respectively, are 4-story apartments in the heart of a thriving and upcoming community. Building A has a total of 47 units and Building B has a total of 71 units. A unique mural is painted on one of Building A's outward facing walls, as seen in the image.
This 33,000 (Building A) & 48,000 (Building B) sq. ft. project was developed by Urban Genesis and built by Crimson Building Company.
Burgess Scope
Burgess Construction Consultants, Inc. provided its inspection and quality assurance services throughout the duration of this project, consisting of bi-weekly site visits to observe all in-progress construction for the following areas:
• waterproofing assemblies
• roofing assemblies
• structural framing
• MEPs
• fire-rated assemblies
• sound attenuation
All assemblies being constructed were verified according to plans, specs, code, industry standards, and manufacturer specifications. Burgess also provided feedback to the owner via electronic reporting and photo documentation.
