Burgess Construction Consultants, Inc. was founded in 1986 in order to meet the growing market demands of professional homebuilders and developers in need of experienced third-party quality initiatives. Today we are recognized as one of the building industry’s most prominent construction consulting inspection firms in the country. We work exclusively with builders performing in-process inspections at the foundation, pre-drywall and final stages of construction. Burgess offers monthly analysis reports on the progress and improvement of each home or project by measuring Trades’ and Superintendents’ attention to quality and consistency. We also perform Superintendent training, warranty inspections and construction consulting.

We strongly believe in building long-term relationships with our builder clients to help you complete your homes or projects on-time with quality, consistency and the highest degree of customer satisfaction. We work hard to bring new builders on board and we work even harder to retain them. When you sign on with Burgess, you will save money and increase your customer satisfaction ratings.

Burgess is in every home or unit, not just a sampling.

It has been estimated that we have saved homebuilders as much as $3 billion in costs associated with unnecessary re-work items. Burgess Construction Consultants, Inc. has performed over 500,000 quality improvement inspections and has identified more than 12,500,000 defects. Burgess specializes in a unique third-party quality initiative inspection process that no other third-party inspection firm can offer. We are very successful working in the field alongside your builders and reporting performance measurements.

Our field inspection reports document specific defect problems to alert the Superintendent for action(s) required for the Trades and total completion. Documentation of inspections includes the following:

•  Inspection Matrices (choice of 20 separate analysis reports available on-line 24/7) to measure your builder, trades and us

•  Digital Photographs to use for training, repiar, estimating or re-designing

•  Contractor Repair Items are printed on-site in English and Spanish

•  Follow-up Re-inspections to verify completion

We know that “Quality Improvement” is critical to a builder’s bottom line. We inspect for risk and dramatically reduce construction defects. Our clients have confirmed that our program pays for itself.
